The workshop was conducted by our esteemed guest, ๐——๐—ฟ. ๐—ฃ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ธ๐—ถ ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ต, an MIT-trained, Canada-based educator and sustainability advocate.

Professionals from diverse backgrounds participated in this day-long workshop, where they explored how to apply a human-centred approach to design thinking and concluded the session by developing prototypes of their business ideas.

The session began with an ice-breaking session, where Dr. Shah asked participants to share their observations and experiences that have left a profound impact on them recently. This helped participants to know each other better and participate in group activities for the entirety of the workshop.

Dr. Shah guided participants through several engaging โ€œthinking out-of-the-boxโ€ exercises that enabled them to explore their creativity. Furthermore, she taught participants some in-depth and impactful design thinking approaches.

Each group of participants was later tasked with creating a business prototype, present it to the other groups, and assessing the feasibility of their business ideas.

The workshop concluded on a powerful note with participants looking forward to follow-up sessions.

Junction Bangladesh is thankful to Dr. Pinki Shah for being a part of this endeavour by imparting her valuable time and knowledge among the participants.
