Overview:
iSocial is providing strategic consultancy to MeyeNetwork, a feminist grassroots organizing platform comprising approximately 8,000 community members. The platform supports survivors of abuse, trauma, and gender-based violence through peer connection, legal and medical services, and community-based empowerment.
To help MeyeNetwork transition from a grassroots initiative to a structured, self-sustaining enterprise, iSocial is offering guidance in developing a comprehensive business plan. This includes identifying viable revenue models, funding pathways, and formal incorporation strategies to establish the platform as a registered business entity.
Project Objective:
To develop a practical, mission-aligned business plan for MeyeNetwork, identifying income-generating portfolios, potential funding streams, and incorporation options that will allow the platform to operate sustainably and independently.
Consultancy Sessions Conducted:
iSocial has facilitated three in-depth sessions with the MeyeNetwork team so far:
- Session 1: March 19, 2025
Focus: Introduction to business planning, segmenting target customers, and aligning service offerings with user needs. - Session 2: May 4, 2025
Focus: Identification of potential revenue-generating portfolios, mapping services against market demand, and application of the BCG Matrix to prioritize services and portfolios based on strategic potential and organizational capacity. - Session 3: Scheduled for May 31, 2025
