INTRODUCTION
iSocial operates an internship program for young professionals who have completed graduate and postgraduate education. 24 internship positions are available annually, spanning 4 to 6 months. The internship is offered for iSocial’s core programs, as well as for its strategic business units (SBUs): DataSense, Junction, and iSkill.
iSocial is a social enterprise promoting research and data-driven policy entrepreneurship and service delivery in the areas of solutions design, skills and entrepreneurship development. iSocial specializes in solutions design applying systems thinking and design thinking approaches for the government, businesses, and development partners. Skills development focuses on digital transformation of technical and vocational sectors and mainstreaming blended learning in education and training. Its entrepreneurship development portfolio adopts venture studio model for solving pain points of enterprises and startups focusing R&D, compliance and intellectual property development and protection.
The focus areas of iSocial are, digital economy, society and governance, decent work in labor economy, and labor migration. The cross-cutting areas are, technology, climate change and gender.
