If you prefer to work independently and with flexibility, iSocial and its SBUs (DataSense, Junction, and iSkill) offer that opportunity in multiple disciplines.

Research Freelancer Pool:
This initiative streamlines the process of identifying, engaging, and nurturing a nationwide pool of skilled research freelancers. Currently, the unit has access to over 2,000 freelancers, who are regularly assigned diverse gig-based tasks. Our members, both offline and cloud-based, consistently deliver high-quality data-driven work. This platform not only creates income-generating opportunities for freelancers but also offers training to enhance their skills. The network brings together individuals with experience in the following areas:
Field Survey | Phone Survey | Focus Group Discussion | Key informant Interview | Data Analysis and Visualization | Data Labelling | Report Writing | Transcription | Translation
Field Survey: The data collectors will collect data from households and enterprises in person.
Phone Survey: The data collector will contact respondents over the telephone to ask a series of structured or semi-structured questions.
Focus Group Discussion (FGD): The data collector will be involved in gathering in-depth insights, opinions, attitudes, and perceptions of participants on a specific topic. It typically involves a small group of 8-12 participants guided by a structured questionnaire.
Key Informant Interview (KII): The data collector will be involved in one-on-one conversations with individuals who have specialized knowledge, experience, or insight about a specific topic or community. These interviews are designed to gather detailed, contextual, and expert perspectives to inform research, policy, or program decisions.
Data Analysis and Visualization: Data analysis and visualization freelancers will examine, create, and interpret data to find useful information, trends, and patterns based on quantitative evidence.
Report Writing: Report writing freelancers will present analyzed information in a clearly structured format for a specific audience under a research project.
Data Entry: Data entry freelancers will input, update, and manage data in the database, maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
Translators: Translator freelancers will be involved in projects that require any translation, copy-editing, or proofreading.
Transcribers: Transcriber freelancers will develop accurate written versions of audio and video recordings, reviewing and editing transcriptions done by speech recognition software, and identifying any inconsistencies.
Infographic Creation: Infographic creation freelancers will present data and information using graphics, icons, and minimal texts to engage a wide range of audience.
