Kanij Fatima Maisha
Research Associate
Kanij Fatima Maisha is a passionate researcher on contemporary issues concerning society and community, climate change, political economy, security dynamics, and the geopolitical landscape. She previously served as a Research Assistant (short-term) at Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) for the study ‘National Household Survey 2023’ and as a Research Intern at the Bangladesh Institute of Peace and Security Studies (BIPSS). In 2023, she was awarded the ICCCAD Research Grant under the CAP-RES project, where she contributed to strengthening capacity for addressing the adverse effects of heatwaves on agricultural transitions and farmers’ adoption of alternative livelihoods. Kanij pursued her postgraduation degree in International Relations from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
At iSocial, Kanij contributes to research projects focusing on the digital economy. She participates in the development of research materials that include drafting concept notes, conducting literature reviews, analyzing data, and supporting the development of final reports.
